We left Yarmouth at lunch time and had a lovely sail up the Solent to Newtown for tea. After tea we had a very fast sail with the tide to Beaulieu to join the RCC Meet. We took 4 attempts at anchoring in a safe spot and just as well, as the wind got up during the night and there was a major pyjama party during the silent hours! We, however slept soundly. On Saturday, there was general boat visiting and the annual drinks party on the raft. On Saturday evening, Joanna and Emily joined us together with Kay and David Mowlam which was great. We spent our last night on board in the Beaulieu River and then set off for the Hamble early on Sunday morning. Picture is the Raft, scene of the annual drinks, on the Saturday.
